Will Hike for Donuts

Hola amigas!

(Feeling SO inspired by my recent Google searches of Tulum, can you tell?). Have you ever wanted to really eat something yummy but felt like you needed to validate it? Well, you don’t! But we’ve all been there and I happened to be there Sunday. I was really craving a donut, but not just any donut, an artisanal donut from Grizzby’s in Claremont.
Steps to validating a sweet treat:
1. Invite a friend
2. Do something active to cancel it out

So, I grabbed my friend Samantha and we headed for the Claremont Loop. This is a gorgeous hike and I definitely recommend bringing a friend or your dog and giving it a try! Now, this is an athleisure blog, so let’s keep it real… we only did half of the hike. Can you tell we were excited for our donuts? Either way, it was perfect for a Sunday afternoon and the clear skies made for a gorgeous view!

Now let’s talk about those donuts, I ordered a Vanilla Crumb and Samantha ordered a Rosé Lemonade. They were so worth the calories that we obviously had already cancelled out! No regrets here!

Next post I will be trying out some different brands, I’m thinking Show Me Your Mumu or AloYoga, decisions decisions!
Outfit details below!
Go treat yourself to a donut 🍩,

Friendsgiving 2015

Last night my friends and I had this year’s Friendsgiving, hosted again by the lovely Amanda, you may know her from her blog Glitter it Gold, if not, do yourself a favor and check her out. It was a great night of food, friends, and fall fashion! Oh and wine. Amanda did a great job setting up, and cooking the main course obviously.

It was a really fun night and I look forward to continuing this tradition every year. It really made it feel like the holidays are coming, and we all got to wear cute fall outfits! I just got these booties at Target and I LOVE them! The high platform made them so comfy. I wore them all night and never felt the need to take them off. My sweater and flannel are both from Target as well and I was so excited to pair them together. When I saw the booties I knew I had to get them to finish my outfit. Plus I worked an hour of overtime this week which paid for my booties so that means they were like free, right? Right! Check the combination out below!

A Tragic Short- Wine & Relationships

My roomie and I were cleaning out our fridge tonight and we had a lot to throw away. Now our fridge matches our wallets…EMPTY! Anyways I was pulling the stuff out and she was holding the trash bag.

Me: Is this trash?

Roomie: Yep.

Me: What’s the date on this? Ugh bad. Um, what’s that?

Roomie: I don’t even know just toss it.

Me: How about this wine? Wine goes bad.

Roomie: Yep, just like relationships.

I sat there laughing on the floor because she said it in such a matter of fact voice. I get some of the best lines from her!

So remember, wine goes bad, just like relationships.

If that’s not positive thinking then I don’t know what is.
